{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"41e60489964484d2daaf8112","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/41e60489964484d2daaf8112","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/41e60489964484d2daaf8112","title":"Account Development Representative","description":"Job Title: Account Development Representative\nLocation: Flexpak Office- Phoenix, AZ\nManager: Mark Howard, Business Development Manager\nFLSA: Exempt (Salaried)\nCommission: Eligible for performance-based commission tied to defined KPIs\nPosition Summary\nThis position is based out of Phoenix, AZ and is responsible for engaging, retaining and growing customer accounts through proactively contacting customers to solution their packaging needs.\nThe Account Development Representative will contribute not only to sales execution but also to the ongoing development and refinement of team processes, operating rhythms, and customer engagement standards to improve consistency, responsiveness, and overall commercial effectiveness.\nCore Responsibilities:\nConduct a high volume of outbound calls and targeted prospecting activities to drive pipeline growth and increase market penetration\nOwn and grow assigned sales territories by proactively identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities within designated markets.\nBuild and maintain strong customer relationships through consistent outreach, follow-up, and value-driven engagement.\nMaintain consistent communication with sales reps regarding lead status, account activity, pipeline progression, and follow-up actions.\nResearch target accounts using CRM data, industry insights, and market intelligence to prioritize high-potential prospects.\nProvide market feedback and prospect insights to Sales Leadership to support pricing strategy, product focus, and territory planning.\nConsistently meet or exceed defined outbound activity, pipeline creation, and conversion KPIs.\nCoordinate with internal teams (Sales Support, Operations, Purchasing) to ensure timely follow-up and customer responsiveness.\nRequired Skills & Competencies\nSales & Communication\nStrong verbal communication skills with confidence engaging customers by phone.\nDemonstrated ability to conduct high-volume outbound prospecting and cold calling in a metrics-driven environment.\nAbility to overcome objections and move opportunities forward with confidence and professionalism.\nProven ability to build relationships quickly and develop long-term customer partnerships.\nStrong follow-up discipline with a sense of urgency around quote conversion and revenue capture.\nOrganization & Execution\nStrong time management skills with the ability to prioritize competing tasks in a fast-paced environment.\nAbility to manage an active sales pipeline with measurable stage progression.\nHigh level of accountability and follow-through.\nSelf-motivated with the ability to execute against defined territory growth goal\nBusiness & Technical Acumen\nComfort working in a metrics-driven sales environment.\nProficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Teams).\nAbility to quickly learn Flexpak’s products, services, and internal systems.\nQualifications\n2–4 years of inside sales or outbound business development experience required.\nPrior experience in B2B sales, distribution, packaging, or industrial products is a plus.\nMust be able to work full-time onsite at the corporate office (this is not a remote or hybrid role)\nBenefits:\nFlexpak is proud to offer a comprehensive benefits package to full-time employees working 30 or more hours per week.
