Your energetic approach and commitment to safety will help create a secure atmosphere where everyone can thrive.\n\n*Responsibilities*\n\n* Conduct regular patrols of the facility, including building interiors, exteriors, and restricted areas to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security risks.\n* Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to observe activity and detect suspicious behavior.\n* Control access points using advanced access control systems, verifying identities and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors.\n* Respond promptly to emergencies by following established procedures, including fire alarms, medical incidents, or security breaches.\n* Write detailed incident reports documenting any security breaches, accidents, or unusual activities for future reference and investigations.\n* Perform background checks on new personnel or visitors as part of the screening process to ensure compliance with security standards.\n* Engage in conflict de-escalation techniques when managing disputes or unruly individuals while maintaining professionalism and safety.\n\n*Requirements*\n\n* Proven experience in physical security roles, law enforcement, military service or related fields is highly desirable.\n* Certification in first aid, CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation, and Taser use preferred.\n* Knowledge of CCTV surveillance systems, access control systems, and manual handling procedures.\n* Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical security tasks requiring stamina and strength.\n* Familiarity with emergency response procedures including fire safety protocols and incident report writing.\n* Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure during emergencies or conflicts.\n* Excellent customer service skills with a professional demeanor when interacting with staff and visitors.\n\nJoin us as a Security Officer to be at the forefront of safety and security!
