Learn more about our values and work at mxcinc.org.\nKey Responsibilities:\nDirectly supervise and expertly coordinate all jobsite activities, including subcontractors, crews, vendors, and material deliveries.\nEnsure absolute compliance with all contract documents, plans, and specifications through every construction phase.\nStrategically manage project scheduling, guaranteeing adherence to timelines, budgets, and stringent quality benchmarks.\nRigorously enforce company and project-specific safety protocols, including adherence to OSHA and EM385-1-1 standards.\nConduct regular, thorough site inspections, lead essential safety meetings, and perform critical quality control evaluations.\nMaintain professional and transparent communication with clients, inspectors, and all project stakeholders.\nMaintain comprehensive documentation, including daily reports, inspection logs, and detailed safety records.\nLeverage Microsoft Office Suite effectively for communication, scheduling, and progress reporting.\nConfidently and creatively resolve jobsite issues, providing decisive leadership when challenges arise.\nTravel across California as required for project assignments.\nRequired Qualifications:\nMinimum 5 years’ experience as a superintendent in construction.\nDemonstrated strong knowledge of construction sequencing, methods, and best practices.\nIn-depth familiarity with OSHA and EM385-1-1 safety regulations.\nProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.\nExcellent communication, leadership, and team-building skills.\nStrong organizational capabilities, with the ability to perform exceptionally under pressure.\nClean driving record and valid driver’s license.\nAbility to pass background checks for access to federal facilities.\nFluent in English (reading, writing, and speaking).\nPhysical Requirements: This role demands consistent physical activity in diverse field settings. This includes: prolonged standing, walking, and navigating uneven terrain; climbing stairs or accessing elevated areas; lifting and moving up to 75 lbs; operating standard office and construction technology; stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling as needed; and working in varying weather conditions.
