This role is responsible for overseeing all accounting functions, implementing financial controls, and providing actionable insights to senior leadership.\r\nThe ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in financial management, compliance, and operational strategy, with a strong ability to lead a team and drive process improvements in a dynamic mining services environment.\r\nThis position will be located in office in our Elko, NV facility.\r\nObjectives of the Role\r\nDeliver comprehensive financial updates and analysis to senior leadership to support data-driven decision-making.\r\nGuide financial strategy by aligning company policies with current economic conditions and industry trends.\r\nDevelop, implement, and maintain robust financial controls and operational guidelines.\r\nLead budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring accuracy and timely corrective actions.\r\nMaximize payroll and accounting efficiency through process innovation and automation.\r\nSupport the development of short-and long-term strategic plans across departments.\r\nKey Responsibilities\r\nMaintain internal safeguards for revenue, costs, budgets, and expenditures across departments and projects.\r\nEstablish financial benchmarks, budgets, and reporting standards in coordination with the President.\r\nPrepare and present financial reports, including variance analysis and forecasting.\r\nAccounting & Compliance\r\nImplement and enforce consistent accounting policies and procedures across all programs and entities.\r\nEnsure compliance with national and local tax regulations, labor laws, and financial reporting standards.\r\nStay informed of proposed legislation and regulatory changes affecting the mining and staffing industries.\r\nDevelop and maintain internal controls to protect company assets and ensure operational integrity.\r\nMonitor workflows and financial transactions to identify inefficiencies and mitigate risks.\r\nLead audits and coordinate with external auditors and consultants as needed.\r\nOversee and support the accounting team, fostering a culture of trust, accountability, and continuous improvement.\r\nCollaborate cross-functionally with HR, operations, and executive leadership to align financial goals with business objectives.\r\nProvide mentorship and training to staff on financial systems, compliance, and reporting best practices.\r\nPayroll & Systems Optimization\r\nManage payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with labor laws.\r\nIdentify opportunities to streamline accounting and payroll processes through technology and automation.\r\nSupport CRM and ERP system integration and data accuracy for financial reporting.\r\nRequired Qualifications\r\nMinimum of 10 years of professional accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.\r\nStrong understanding of banking processes, financial data analysis, and GAAP standards.\r\nProven experience in payroll management, budgeting, and financial project oversight.\r\nWorking knowledge of national and local tax regulations, compliance reporting, and audit procedures.\r\nExceptional attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.\r\nExcellent communication and leadership abilities.\r\nPreferred Qualifications\r\nBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's degree a plus).\r\nProfessional certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CA (Chartered Accountant).\r\nExperience in the mining, staffing, or industrial services sectors.\r\nFamiliarity with QuickBooks, ERP systems, and CRM platforms.\r\nWhat We Offer\r\nCompetitive pay (DOE).\r\nPaid travel and expenses (if applicable).\r\n401(k) with employer matching.\r\nComprehensive benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life insurance.\r\nOpportunities for professional growth and advancement.\r\nWork with industry leaders in a thriving, expanding company.\r\nRangefront Mining Services is a US-based company with headquarters in Elko, Nevada and regional offices throughout North America.
