Other duties may be assigned.\n\nCustomer Service\n\nProvide a positive representation of Ace Hardware.\n\nProactively assist customers in solving problems.\n\nPossess a friendly outgoing demeanor; work well with customers as well as associates.\n\nEnsure all pages and calls are answered promptly, courteously and effectively.\n\nForward any customer complaint that cannot be handled to a member of management.\n\nPossess knowledge of store layout and location of products.\n\nStore Operations\n\nAssist in creating a positive, professional and safe work environment.\n\nAssist with receiving / stocking of merchandise throughout the store.\n\nAssist with maintaining back stock levels.\n\nAssist with providing a clean and orderly sales floor, including end caps and ad merchandise.\n\nEnsure signage is current throughout the store.\n\nCommunicate any merchandising, cost control or sales idea to Store Manager.\n\nEducation / Training\nHigh School or GED equivalent.\n\nExperience\nMechanical ability is a plus.
