Grade One Teacher - Sanford Pride Elementary (998)

Sanford Pride Elementary School is seeking a 1st grade teacher.We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate educator to join our first-grade team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with first-grade students and an understanding of their diverse learning, social, emotional, and behavioral needs, as well as how these needs impact student success.This educator should be confident in building a positive classroom culture through the use of Responsive Classroom and Restorative Practices. A strong foundation in engaging, research-based instructional strategies in literacy, math, social studies, and science is essential. Additionally, we are seeking an educator who actively contributes to a collaborative and supportive professional learning environment.Sanford Pride is a PreK–Grade 4 school located in the heart of Sanford, Maine. In addition to district curriculum and programs, our school offers a service dog program that supports both students and staff.
