Harbor Point Park & Events Ambassador

Building and Land Technology (BLT) is now hiring seasonal Park & Events Ambassadors for Harbor Point, a growing waterfront community in Stamford, CT.Join our team of Park and Events Ambassadors for the upcoming 2026 season!Responsibilities and Duties of the Park & Events Ambassador:Greeting visitors, promoting the park's recreational activities and eventsProvide helpful information on BLT programs, services, games, and special eventsSupervise games and engage visitors/tenants by participating when necessary, helping to create an elevated and positive guest experienceAssist in event production, setting up and taking down equipment, tents, speakers, banners, etc.Maintain a safe and clean recreational environment for allEnsure events/program equipment and facilities are maintained and operationalDaily opening and closing of game areaMaintain a daily log and write-up of activities and park observationResponsible for general maintenance of the park and staging area; including – sweeping, wiping down surfaces and equipment, emptying trash, picking up trash, assisting service porter (as needed), and maintain Dog stationsTake photos and videos of events and park programs for social media advertisingAssist management team with special assignments as neededRequirements of the Park & Events Ambassador:Maintain and project a positive image to the publicAbility to effectively communicate with upper management, co-workers, and guests under any circumstanceCandidates must be self-motivated, energetic, and outgoing to maintain excitement with visitors while acting as an ambassador of the parkAbility to work outside in all weather conditionsExperience in customer service, events, recreation, or urban affairs a plusStrong people skills and willingness to assist in multiple areasMust be physically fit; able to lift 40 lbs. and work in a public settingAbility to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, weekends(mandatory), holidays (mandatory), and extended hours (if needed) to support all programs and events.This is a part time and seasonal job .
