{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"41aaa3d8c63581f2168d0d8f","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/41aaa3d8c63581f2168d0d8f","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/41aaa3d8c63581f2168d0d8f","title":"Quality Engineer","description":"We are hiring for a Quality Engineer for a large automotive parts manufacturing facility in Fraser, MI.\n\nResponsibilities:\n\n* Perform the role of the customer within the Plant.\n\n* Manage and guarantee resolution of customers concerns on a daily basis working closely\n\nwith Production and Engineering.\n\n* Coach and train the operator/GAP leaders/supervisors on the quality principles of Faurecia\n\nand Customer specifics.\n\n* Champion QSE activities and coach plant personnel.\n\n* Manage the quality system through the UAP’s.\n\n* Supports and leads continuous improvements by utilizing the appropriate quality tools and\n\nprovide data analysis.\n\n* Conduct investigations to determine causes of defects, make recommendations for\n\ncorrective action.\n\n▪ Update and maintain the control plan and confirm PFMEA updates from the Plant Process\n\nEngineer.\n\n* Responsible for presenting and submission of initial customer PPAP for all parts produced\n\nwithin Faurecia, in conjunction with the Program Quality Leader, (Re-PPAP of engineering\n\nchanges/process changes/in-sourcing).\n\n* Input all external complaints into QSSC (Review and monitor complaint status until closure).\n\n* Ensure customer/internal complaints are adequately answered, on time, and using FIS\n\nproblem solving methodology with active participation from production personnel. (QRCI,\n\nQuality Walls, etc.).\n\n* When there are programs in launch, the QE will assume the responsibilities outlined in the\n\nPlant Quality Lead Job Description.
