This role ensures compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations while handling hazardous materials. It supports continuous improvement through organization, task management, and process training. By maintaining a clean, safe work area and adhering to SOPs, the Technician II contributes to efficient operations and high-quality output in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\n\nProcess parts utilizing both chemical and manual cleaning methods.\n\nMay perform receiving, processing, wiping, scrubbing, masking, chemical processing, machine operating, etching, blasting, coating, drying, baking, and other processes, as needed.\n\nFollows all SOPs, Lean manufacturing processes, company policies, and practices.\n\nComplete training on assigned processes.\n\nPerform daily organization and upkeep of assigned process area.\n\nAttend monthly safety meetings and training programs.\n\nHandle hazardous chemicals correctly and safely. Follow all policies and directions for safe use of and proper disposal of hazardous chemicals.\n\nParticipation and adherence to safety program and completion of various pieces of training.\n\nMust have exceptional skills at organizing tasks, efficiently managing their time, and the ability to report out achieved task goals.\n\nMaintain a high degree of safety and environmental awareness through the practice of safe work habits.\n\nSeeks to advance skills and learn new processes.\n\nOther Duties\n\nPlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
