This role is highly analytical and operational, focused on identifying threats, evaluating risk, maintaining security documentation, and supporting the enterprise cybersecurity program through reporting, incident response, and continuous improvement efforts. The analyst helps ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of organizational systems and data.\nThis position can be located in Sioux Falls, SD, or Pierre, SD.\nWhat you will do\nMonitor and analyze alerts, events, and network activity from security tools; assist with triage, prioritization, and escalation.\nCollect, analyze, and evaluate security‑related information to identify threats, vulnerabilities, trends, and anomalies.\nDevelop recurring and ad‑hoc security reports, dashboards, and metrics (KPIs/KRIs) for leadership, auditors, and regulators.\nConduct and/or support regular vulnerability scans and penetration testing activities; assist with remediation tracking and documentation.\nParticipate in cybersecurity planning and review processes, including tabletop exercises, audits, and assessments.\nSupport incident response activities by gathering logs and evidence, helping reconstruct timelines, performing initial investigations, and documenting root cause analysis and remediation.\nAssist with access reviews, risk assessments, and control testing to support compliance and governance requirements.\nMaintain documentation of security operations, processes, evidence collection, and investigative workflows.\nContribute to the development and delivery of end‑user cybersecurity training and awareness initiatives.\nIdentify opportunities to automate reporting, data collection, and security-related workflows.\nOther duties as assigned.\nWhat you will need\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Security or a related field required.\nExperience in the area of bank information security preferred, with knowledge in the fundamentals such as incident management, forensic analyses, obfuscation techniques, vulnerability scans, threat intelligence.\nWorking knowledge of cybersecurity fundamentals, including incident response, threat intelligence, vulnerability scanning, forensic concepts, malicious activity detection, and security monitoring tools.\nWhat we offer\nHealth Insurance\nDental Insurance\nVision Insurance\nPaid Vacation, Sick, and Holiday time\nA competitive 6% 401k match\nAnd more!\nCandidate must pass a pre-employment screening including credit history and criminal record check.\nCandidates should only apply to jobs posted on reputable sources.
