In some cases, you will assign tasks to engineers. You will typically report to top management and will need a deep understanding of departmental processes to excel in this position.\n\nResponsibilities:\nAct as a resource for engineers on policies, procedures, and technical issues related to mechanical, electrical, and software integration.\nPlan, direct, and coordinate all activities related to the development of mechatronic systems.\nPlan, direct, and coordinate the daily activities of the mechatronics development department/group/team.\nHire, review, and terminate non-management employees as needed.\nEnsure the team adheres to industry best practices and company standards for mechatronics development.\nOversee integration of various subsystems (mechanical, electrical, and software) to ensure seamless operation.\nEvaluate and optimize designs for manufacturability, performance, cost, and reliability.\nProvide leadership and mentorship to team members, ensuring their continuous development and alignment with organizational goals.\n\nRequired Qualifications:\n5 years of individual contributor experience as a Mechatronics Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Robotics Engineer, or other related engineering fields.\nA Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field.\nComprehensive knowledge of mechatronics principles, including mechanical design, electrical systems, control systems, and embedded software.\nProficiency in CAD tools for mechanical design (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation software.\nExperience with embedded systems programming and software development, including proficiency in C, C++, or similar languages.\nFamiliarity with control systems design, sensor integration, and robotics is highly desirable.\nExperience with Agile or other project management methodologies.\nStrong project management skills, particularly with complex cross-disciplinary projects.\nExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interface with stakeholders at all levels.\n\nDesired Qualifications:\nProject Management Certification.\nExperience working in Robotics, Automation, or a similar field.\n3 to 5 years supervisory/leadership experience preferred.\n\nAt Autonomous Solutions, Inc.
