This position ensures that materials meet quality standards and are efficiently organized for further processing or shipping. This is a great opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in a collaborative environment.\r\nThis is a 2nd shift position working the hours of 1:30pm-10:00pm.\r\nResponsibilitiesWorks in flow control assembly and surface finishing.\r\nFollow detailed manufacturing and assembly procedures.\r\nFollows process order requirements for assembly and verification\r\nOperates small hand and power tools to assemble products\r\nTrain new personnel on manufacturing procedures.\r\nUse polishing equipment to smooth and finish products to meet specified standards\r\nCommunicate all pertinent information and advise direct Supervisor of any problems.\r\nIdentifies quality problems and follows reporting procedures\r\nActively participates in team activities and the accomplishment of team goals.\r\nResponsible for accurately completing and processing all documents necessary for tracking operations, including databases.\r\nUnderstand drawings and standard work instructions and apply them according to job specifications\r\nPerforms surface finishing activities; deburring, sand blasting and electropolishing.\r\nComply with Good Documentation Practices when creating, documenting, and reviewing quality records.\r\nFollow good manufacturing practices per company operating procedures.\r\nClean and organize workbenches before and after shift.\r\nSupports other Operations Departments processes; Shipping and Inventory as needed.\r\nMay serve on cross-functional teams to address key operational issues.\r\nOther duties may be assigned.\r\nQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent (some positions may require additional training or certification).\r\nDue to the nature of the work and compliance with safety protocols/regulations, fluency in English (reading and writing) is required.\r\nExperience in polishing, finishing, or material handling (preferred but not required).\r\nBasic understanding of material properties and handling techniques.\r\nGood physical stamina, with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time.\r\nWhat Repligen OffersOur mission is to inspire advances in bioprocessing as a trusted partner in the production of biologic drugs that improve human health worldwide.
