This role ensures components are assembled accurately, safely and efficiently according to established work instructions and quality standards.\nResponsibilities\nAssemble small water softener components following standard work instructions and visual aids\nUse hand tools and basic assembly equipment to complete tasks accurately\nPerform visual quality checks on parts during and after assembly\nIdentify and report defective parts, quality issues or equipment concerns to the Team Lead\nMeet daily production goals while maintaining quality and safety standards\nMaintain a clean, organized and safe workstation in accordance with 5S guidelines\nFollow all plant and safety policies, work rules and PPE requirements\nSupport other assembly or production areas as needed\nQualifications:\nAbility to follow written and verbal instructions\nAbility to perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment\nDependable attendance and strong work ethic\nGood attention to detail\nManufacturing or assembly experience is a plus, but not required\nEducation\nHigh School Diploma or GED\nPhysical Requirements\nProlonged periods of sitting/standing and frequent bending and reaching.\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and use hands to finger, handle, or feel.\nWe Offer\nCompetitive compensation package and comprehensive benefits plans which include medical and dental insurance, company-sponsored life insurance, retirement security savings plan, short- and long-term disability programs and tuition assistance.\nStarting pay : $21.00/hr.\nStep 2 at 6 months: $22.05\nStep 3 at 12 months: $22.80\nADA Statement & EEO Statement\nIn developing this job description care was taken to include all competencies needed to successfully perform in this position.
