Title: Industrial Grounds KeeperBackground friendly Pay: 18.22/hrSchedule: Monday - FridayHours: first shift(Starting times may vary)Summary of Primary Functions:The Industrial Grounds Keeper is responsible for maintaining the exterior grounds and property of a precast concrete manufacturing facility. This role ensures the property is clean, safe, and well-maintained year-round by performing landscaping, upkeep, and general labor tasks. The ideal candidate is hands-on, safety-conscious, and experienced with outdoor maintenance and light equipment operation in an industrial environment.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:All employees are required to follow all Safety and Quality rules and processes to ensure a safe working environment, and the production of high-quality products.Grounds Maintenance & LandscapingMow and maintain lawns using hand or power mowersTrim and edge around walkways, curbs, walls, and landscaped areasPrune trees and shrubs to maintain appearance and promote healthy growthPlant and maintain grass, flowers, shrubs, and treesWater lawns and landscaping using hoses or sprinkler systemsApply fertilizers, herbicides, and insecticides using hand or powered sprayersSite Cleanliness & UpkeepRemove trash, debris, and litter from groundsMaintain cleanliness of walkways, parking areas, and facility surroundingsClean drainage ditches and culverts to ensure proper water flowSeasonal DutiesRemove snow from walkways, driveways, and facility access areasApply salt or de-icing materials to prevent hazardous ice buildupRepairs & General MaintenancePerform minor repairs on fences, gates, walls, and walkwaysPaint fences, structures, and outbuildings as neededMaintain and sharpen tools and equipmentEquipment Operation & MaintenanceOperate tractors and equipment with attachments such as mowers, spreaders, rollers, and snow removal toolsPerform minor maintenance and repairs on groundskeeping equipmentUse hand tools and power tools safely and effectivelyGeneral Labor SupportAssist with additional labor tasks as needed across the facilitySupport maintenance or operations teams during peak workloads or special projectsQualificationsPrevious experience in groundskeeping, landscaping, or industrial facility maintenance preferredAbility to operate landscaping equipment and light machineryFamiliarity with hand tools and power toolsAbility to perform physically demanding outdoor work in various weather conditionsStrong attention to detail and safety awarenessPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs regularlyFrequent walking, bending, kneeling, and standingAbility to work outdoors in varying weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, etc.)Work EnvironmentOutdoor industrial setting within a precast concrete production facilityExposure to dust, noise, and moving equipmentRequires adherence to all safety guidelines and PPE requirementsScheduleFull-time; may require early mornings, overtime, or weekend work depending on seasonal demandsAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.#ZRGREENVILLETRS Staffing Solutions are an equal opportunities employer, and we welcome you to provide OFCCP data voluntarily hereCompany DescriptionOur recruiters are highly experienced in finding skilled craft professionals across construction, engineering, operations & maintenance, project services, commissioning and shutdown/outage needs.
