The EHS Engineer will partner closely with engineering, operations, facilities, and leadership teams to ensure compliance with all applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations while fostering a strong culture of safety and continuous improvement. Candidates from manufacturing, automotive, construction, medical device, cleanroom, or semiconductor environments are encouraged to apply\n\nDuties / Responsibilities:\n\nDevelop, implement, and maintain environmental, health, and safety policies, procedures, and programs.\nEnsure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.\nPrepare and submit environmental, health, and safety reports to regulatory agencies and company leadership.\nLead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective/preventive action plans.\nConduct workplace inspections, hazard assessments, safety audits, and environmental compliance reviews.\nManage hazardous waste handling, storage, and disposal activities in accordance with regulatory requirements.\nCoordinate and support emergency preparedness and response programs.\nDevelop and deliver safety training programs for employees, contractors, and visitors.\nMaintain EHS records, permits, reports, and compliance documentation.\nMonitor environmental permits and reporting requirements, including water and discharge testing activities.\nPartner with cross-functional teams to identify risks and implement continuous improvement initiatives.\nPromote a culture of safety through employee engagement, toolbox talks, safety observations, and proactive reporting programs.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\n\nShift Schedule: First Shift (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM)\n\nRequired Skills & Experience:\n\nBachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Occupational Safety, Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemistry, or a related technical discipline.\nMinimum of three (3) years of EHS experience in a manufacturing, industrial, construction, medical device, semiconductor, or related environment.\nExperience supporting environmental compliance, safety programs, audits, and regulatory inspections\nExperience conducting incident investigations and implementing corrective actions.\nExperience supporting manufacturing operations.\nStrong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and applicable environmental, health, and safety regulations.\nExperience with regulatory compliance audits, inspections, and permitting activities.\nStrong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to work independently and collaboratively across multiple departments.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).\nStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.\n\nAdditional Preferred Skills:\n\nExperience developing and implementing EHS management systems.\nCleanroom, semiconductor fabrication (fab), or regulated manufacturing experience.\nExperience conducting environmental permitting, compliance audits, and regulatory inspections.\nCurrent First Aid and CPR certification.\nCertified First Aid/CPR Trainer.\nClass B Water and Discharge Testing Certification.\nProfessional certifications such as:\nASP (Associate Safety Professional)\nCSP (Certified Safety Professional)\nCHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager)\nKnowledge of:\nLockout/Tagout (LOTO) programs and electrical safety practices\nNear-miss and incident reporting systems\nSafety training development and delivery\nHazard communication programs and Safety Data Sheets (SDS)\nSpecialty gas safety and handling\nToolbox talks and employee safety engagement programs\nContinuous improvement and safety culture development experience.\n\nQuantum Computing Inc.
