{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"413b5d79a51374c12ced97ea","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/413b5d79a51374c12ced97ea","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/413b5d79a51374c12ced97ea","title":"Associate Data Scientist","description":"Associate Data Scientist\nIndianapolis, IN, hybrid\nPay: $36.43/hr.\n6 months, reocurring contract\nAs the Associate Data Scientist, you will work with partners and outside stakeholders to gather and analyze data regarding a variety of issues and topics to develop data driven solutions to difficult business challenges.\nResponsibilities:\nMines and analyzes data from organization’s databases to drive optimization and improvement of program development, evaluation, and business insights\nAssesses the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data quality\nStandardize operational procedures, reviewing code, analyzing, and interpreting datasets, and working with Git for version control\nData analysis (Assist in analysis for evaluation, EDA)\nPerforms exploratory data analysis to understand the organization’s data\nInterprets results from multiple sources using a variety of techniques, ranging from simple data aggregation via statistical analysis to complex data mining independently\nDevelops analytic and predictive models for business needs\nCoordinates with different functional teams to implement models and monitor outcomes\nCreate meaningful visualizations that communicate information about business questions\nWork with data engineers/architects to create data pipelines\nWork with data scientists to deploy sustainable solutions\nDevelops compelling data visualizations to communicate findings to target audience(s)\nProficient in: SQL, R, Python\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Math, Computer science, Informatics, or related fields\n1 – 1.5 years of educational, internship, or professional experience in statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests, etc.)\nConfidence in working with Python, and/or, R\nWorking knowledge using SQL to manipulate and draw insights from large data sets\nExperience creating visualizations and storytelling understanding\nAbility to research and document findings\nMission driven personality with a desire to learn\nPay: $35.00 -
