Job Description OverviewRegistered Nurse – OR CirculatorOperating Room, San Luis Obispo, CaliforniaStart Date: 06/08/2026Duration: 13 weeksWeekly pay: $2,479–$2,632 per weekGuaranteed Hours: 40 per weekShift: 5x8 Rotating (8-hour shifts)Setting: Travel assignment in a hospital settingKey Highlights- Weekly pay: $2,479 to $2,632 per week- Guaranteed hours: 40 per week- Contract duration: 13 weeks- Shift: Rotating 8-hour shifts- Start date: 06/08/2026- Travel assignment in a hospital setting- This position is represented by CNAResponsibilities- Serve as OR Circulator, assisting surgeons and anesthesia team and coordinating the flow of equipment, supplies, and staff during operative procedures.- Monitor and support patient safety throughout the perioperative phase of care.- Participate in patient care planning, assessment, and nursing treatment in collaboration with the surgical team.- Maintain sterile technique, ensure instrument counts, and manage environmental safety in the OR.- Communicate effectively with all members of the perioperative team and document pertinent care activities.- Collaborate with the CNA representation and support staff to optimize workflow and patient outcomes.Requirements- Active RN license in California (or eligible to practice in the state)- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification- Nursing degree from an accredited program (ASN/BSN preferred)- Experience in perioperative nursing or OR circulating role preferred- Ability to work in a high-paced surgical environment and rotate shifts- Eligibility for a travel assignment in the United States, including ability to work in the listed settingBenefits and Support- Dedicated recruiter support throughout the assignment- Assignment coordination and client liaison from Healthforce Healthcare LLC- Continuous support line for travel clinicians during the assignment- Access to credentialing assistance and resources as needed- Availability of extension opportunities based on assignment needs and performancePlease note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
