Role Description Denver Botanic Gardens is seeking an Accounting Manager for a full-time, on-site role based in Denver, CO. The Accounting Manager will oversee the preparation of financial statements, ensure timely and accurate journal entries, manage fixed asset accounting, and supervise the analysis of financial data. Responsibilities include leading audits, developing financial reports, monitoring compliance with financial policies, and supporting decision-making through financial insights. Qualifications Proficiency in Financial Statements preparation and Fixed Asset accountingStrong Analytical Skills and ability to interpret financial data effectivelyExperience in processing Journal Entries and comprehensive knowledge of Accounting principlesSolid understanding of Finance concepts and financial processesDemonstrated ability to lead teams, manage deadlines, and ensure accuracyBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related fieldCertified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is preferredProficiency in accounting software and advanced Excel skills is a plusStrong organizational and problem-solving skills
