Weighmaster II
JOB STATEMENT: Responsible for weighing inbound and outbound grape and bulk wine trucks, as well as enters and reports all shipping and receiving information.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Weigh in and out all bulk wine and grape trucks
Prepare, print and distribute Bill of Ladings
Prepare, print and distribute Cellar Tags
Prepare, print, reconcile and distribute all appropriate reports
Enter all bulking wine receiving and shipping schedule into scale software
Communicate effectively with company personnel to aid in the completion of required tasks as well as all issues/ concerns
Providing information to management by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person
Archiving and filing of documentation
Follow guidelines and procedures in order to ensure ISO certification
Assist with any general administrative tasks, projects and/ or additional duties assigned by a supervisor/ manager
Create new and update existing SOP’s, forms, reference materials, etc
Facilitate New Employee Training
Maintain scale house housekeeping
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Education/Experience:
1-3 years of experience in general office procedures
Wine, transportation and/ or logistics knowledge required
Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook
Excellent verbal & written communication skills
Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
Excellent math skills and strong analytic/decision making skills
High level of attention to detail and committed to avoiding errors
Highly proficient and accurate with 10 key
Knowledge of:
Computers and Microsoft Office
Problem solving and critical thinking
Working in a team and willing to help on various projects
Follows guidelines & procedures
Ability to:
Represent the company in a professional manner
Work under pressure and meet deadlines
