The company has offices in North America, Europe, and the UAE.We are seeking qualified CAD Technician to join our growing team. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with multi-disciplined engineering and design teams to develop civil layout drawings in a 3D model environment. As a CAD Technician, you will play a key role in designing and drafting plans and construction documents for a wide range of projects—including commercial, industrial, and residential developments, as well as public works and infrastructure improvements. Projects typically involve grading, roadway geometry, erosion control, drainage systems, utility design, and quantity calculations.This is a full-time, on-site role in Beaverton, OR.Key ResponsibilitiesCreate detailed civil layout drawings using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Carlson SoftwareGenerate profiles, alignments, surfaces, pipe networks, and construction detailsInterpret and apply engineering plans, notes, and specificationsCollaborate with engineers to ensure model accuracy and drafting standards are metUtilize Carlson Software tools for land surveying, topographic data, and surface modelingHandle complex design and drafting tasks independently with minimal supervisionProduce clear technical manuals describing project features, operations, and maintenanceReview and verify engineering drawings for compliance with specifications and standardsCommunicate effectively with staff, clients, local jurisdictions, and project consultantsMaintain productivity in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentQualificationsStrong understanding of civil engineering and surveying design processesProficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D, with solid experience in 3D modelingPractical experience using Carlson Software for land surveying and civil designSkilled in Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelAbility to create accurate models and drawings from verbal and written specificationsFamiliarity with construction document standards and engineering terminologyExcellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skillsPreferred Education & ExperienceAssociate's degree or higher in drafting, design, or a related field5+ years of experience in civil/survey CAD draftingAutoCAD: 5+ yearsCivil 3D: 3+ yearsCarlson Software: 2+ years"We are an equal opportunity employer committed to employment equity utilizing hiring practices on merit and business needs.
