This is a hands-on senior technologist role that works collaboratively with other technical leaders in the organization to design, develop, and sustain database technical solutions for custom software development projects. This senior role blends Application Design and Development, Application Testing, and Microsoft SharePoint Configuration . We are looking for a consummate professional that can confidently own entire SharePoint app dev projects from design through deployment and maintenance. Prefer candidates having full-stack application development and sustainment experience. You will interface with senior IT SMEs to collaboratively design large-scale IT application solutions using sound architectural approaches. You will lead through expertise and sound decision-making that considers benefits, risks, and technical dependencies. You will optimize development team techniques and practices through continuous improvement. You should have enthusiasm for driving teams to deliver high-quality software. Prior experience working with Federal government customers is required. You will be onsite at the customer offices Monday through Friday in downtown Washington, DC, near the Farragut West metro station.\nResponsibilities:\nLead the design, development, programming, and deployment enterprise SharePoint applications and solutions according to customer business requirements and technical constraints\nDevelop software solutions by working directly with Product Owner and other internal customers to understand requirements, analyzing work processes, determining data requirements, performing software design, programming, debugging, testing, and deploying software solutions.\nBuild proof of concept examples and demos for training purposes.\nTroubleshoots and solve complex software issues\nRequired Education:\nBachelor’s degree in a related technical field (or commensurate experience)\nCompTIA Security+ (Must obtain with 60 days of hire)\nRequired Experience:\n5+ years programming custom solutions based on Microsoft SharePoint\nProgramming skills including C#, ASP.NET, jQuery, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, SQL, Git, GitHub Actions, JIRA, Confluence\nInstallation, migration, and configuration of Microsoft SharePoint 2019\nLeading conversations with Product Owners, Stakeholders, and Users\nVery high level of verbal language proficiency\nPreference given to Big 4 consulting experience in Federal government sector\nAbility to convincingly explain the rationale for technology decisions\nFull-time employees (no 1099 or Corp-to-Corp)\nUS Citizenship (able to obtain Top Secret Security Clearance)\nRequired Clearance:\nPreference given to candidates with a Top-Secret clearance (active or recently active)\nMust be able to pass background screening and re-investigation\nMust be able to work in a SCIF\nAbout Softtek Government Solutions:\n\nSofttek Gov't Solutions is a professional services firm focused on addressing our nation’s most complex threats and challenges.
