As a Fine Dining Server, you will be responsible for creating memorable dining experiences for our guests through attentive service, extensive menu knowledge, and a commitment to excellence.\nDuties\nGreet and seat guests in a warm and welcoming manner.\nPresent menus and provide detailed descriptions of food and beverage offerings.\nTake accurate orders and ensure timely delivery of food and drinks.\nUpsell menu items and promote daily specials to enhance guest experience.\nMaintain knowledge of wine pairings and assist guests with selections.\nHandle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments through POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.\nEnsure cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables promptly.\nAdhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a safe dining environment.\nCollaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and address any guest concerns promptly.\nProvide exceptional guest relations by anticipating needs and responding effectively to feedback.\nSkills\nProven experience in fine dining or upscale restaurant settings.\nStrong customer service skills with the ability to create positive guest interactions.\nExcellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.\nFamiliarity with food handling, preparation, and safety standards in the food industry.\nAbility to perform basic math for order processing and cash handling accurately.\nExperience with restaurant management systems such as OpenTable is a plus.\nCulinary experience or knowledge is advantageous for menu discussions with guests.\nStrong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.\nPrevious experience as a host/host or in guest services is beneficial.
