Agricultural Science Teacher Utopia ISD: Agricultural Science Teacher Animal Science and Plant Science. Position is flexible depending on teaching strengths.Summary: We are seeking a full-time AG teacher to join our team at Utopia ISD. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching students, and a commitment to fostering a positive and engaging learning environment.Responsibilities:Teach assigned subjects to high school studentsDevelop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with state standards and district curriculumAssess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents/guardiansMaintain accurate and up-to-date records of student attendance, grades, and behaviorCommunicate regularly with parents/guardians to keep them informed of their child's progress and any concernsParticipate in professional development opportunities to stay current on best practices in teachingRequirements:Bachelor's degree in education or a related fieldValid teaching certification in the state of TexasStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively with colleagues, administrators, and parents/guardiansCommitment to ongoing professional development and growthPassion for working with middle and high school students and helping them reach their full potentialSalary and benefits:Utopia ISD provides $430 per month towards a wide variety of non TRS health insurance plans as well as optional dental and vision plans.Life InsuranceLife Flight InsuranceFour day instructional weekFive local leave days that accumulate from year to year
