Acts as a senior technical authority, responsible for technical standards, tooling, and delivery outcomes across multiple systems or initiatives. The requirements listed below are representative of the minimum knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.\nBachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Masters degree preferred)\n10+ years of professional experience in software development, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.\nProficiency in one or more programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.\nExperience with UI frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Django, Flask)\nExperience with API frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot, Express).\nDeep understanding of database systems and SQL, with experience in designing and optimizing database schemas or usage patterns.\nStrong knowledge of application architecture and design patterns\nStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical problems and propose/implement effective solutions.\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and interact with stakeholders at all levels.\nPreferred:\nExperience with cloud computing platforms - AWS and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).\nKnowledge of Infrastructure as a Service concepts and tooling (Cloud Formation, Teraform, etc.), deployment automation tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Bamboo, etc.)\nKnowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum.\nPrevious experience in leading or mentoring junior engineers.\nCompetencies:\nCustomer Service: Exceptional attitude and a passion for providing outstanding service to internal customers.\nAttention to Detail: Thoroughness in accomplishing a task through concern for all the areas involved, no matter how small.
