Stacey, Administrative AssistantResponsibilities:Lead all sourcing and procurement activities supporting plant operationsDevelop, manage, and strengthen relationships with domestic and global suppliersEnsure supply continuity by proactively addressing delivery, quality, and capacity risksIdentify and implement cost reduction, value optimization, and process improvement opportunitiesDrive alignment between purchasing activities and production and customer requirementsOversee supplier performance management, including corrective actions when requiredLead RFQ/RFP processes, including development of sourcing strategies, bid packages, and commercial evaluationsNegotiate pricing, contracts, and long-term supply agreements in alignment with business objectivesManage approved supplier selection, qualification, audits, and ongoing performance reviewsMonitor market trends and supply base conditions to anticipate risk and recommend mitigation actionsReconcile purchasing discrepancies including invoice, PO, and contractual variancesSupport capital and production purchasing activities in collaboration with Finance and OperationsEnsure compliance with internal policies, external regulations, and quality management system requirementsLead or support document control activities and audit readiness related to purchasing systemsDrive supplier innovation and encourage adoption of improved materials, processes, and technologiesSupport special projects and additional initiatives as assignedRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related fieldBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CMA preferred)C.P.M. and/or CPSM certification considered an asset5-8 years of progressive purchasing experience within automotive or industrial manufacturing environmentsMinimum of 3 years in a supervisory or leadership capacityStrong background in supplier negotiation, contract management, and cost analysis3+ years of accounting experience, ideally in manufacturing environmentsProficiency in ERP systemsAdvanced Microsoft Excel skillsSolid knowledge of GAAP and cost accounting principlesStrong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.Professional and friendly demeanor with strong customer service skills.Experience handling confidential information with discretion.Familiarity with scheduling tools, document management systems, and office equipment.Ability to work independently and as part of a team to support office operations.Join a Team That Works for YouAt Staffmark, we're more than just a staffing company-we're your career partner.
