In this role, you must function well as a member of a dynamic team, while having the ability to work independently to progress and close business.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities :\nEasily relate to customer challenges and provide clear, non-technical, value-based solutions.\nPresent solutions to customers and partners with or without sales support.\nSupport partners in all aspects of the sales process.\nSuccessfully convey technical details to a non-technical audience, as well as, foster credibility with more technical audiences.\nProvide knowledge and skills to help qualify business opportunities by understanding the user requirements and technical environment.\nProvide ongoing mentoring and guidance on all software components, design techniques, methodology and delivery concept to partners and peers\nHandle objections professionally; answer questions quickly and coherently; deal with challenges assertively and persuasively.\nSelf-manage assignments and administrative tasks, managing multiple projects simultaneously from start to finish.\nRequired Qualifications:\nA minimum of 8+ years of relevant sales advisory or sales engineering experience.\nMainframe security experience with AS/400 / IBM i and z/OS technical experience.\nMainframe Modernization experience.\nREST services and other application development skills and experience.\nStrong problem solving and requirements gathering skills.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nHighly motivated and comfortable taking on a variety of tasks in order to satisfy business requirements.\nDetail-oriented and can rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts and technologies.\nAbility to work independently and engage team support as required.\nAbility to prioritize and manage workload to meet defined deadlines.\nMust be comfortable working in a rapidly changing and sometimes unstructured environment.\nInformation Security:\nInformation security is everyone’s responsibility.
