HVAC Service Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC systems, mechanical knowledge, and experience in field service. This role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. The technician will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure optimal performance of HVAC systems for our clients. Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including heating units, air conditioning units, and refrigeration systems. Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment. Diagnose issues with HVAC systems and perform necessary repairs or replacements. Collaborate with other technicians to design and build efficient HVAC solutions tailored to client needs. Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot problems effectively. Operate company vehicles for service calls; valid driver's license required for van driving responsibilities. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used and time spent on each job. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards during all tasks. Qualifications Proven experience as an HVAC Technician or similar role in the field service industry. Strong mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems and appliance repair. Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems is a plus. Ability to build and design custom HVAC solutions based on client specifications. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. Must be able to pass any required background checks or certifications as necessary.
