You will play a crucial role in providing recommendations to deliver integrated Ops Space Command and Control (C2) capabilities.\nThis position is based in El Segundo, CA. However will consider remote candidates\nResponsibilities include, but are not limited to:\nProvide program management expertise to the Platform Team. This will include leading the planning, execution, and delivery of projects related to KM platforms and Space C2 enablement.\nDevelop project plans, set milestones, and manage resources effectively to ensure project success. Monitoring project progress and performance, addressing issues and implementing corrective actions as necessary.\nImplement solutions given an architect’s vision, while enabling all other components to provide a holistic capability in support of the Government Program Office priorities, additional Operational C2 lines of effort (LOEs), developers, products, and end-users.\nProvide expert advice to the Government Program Manager and Senior Space Force Leadership regarding acquisition strategies, contracting, budgeting, and execution.\nDrive innovative solutions to deliver results to the warfighters that leverage the latest in DevSecOps resources and scalable cloud and bare metal microservices to support advanced communications, tactical cloud, and secure processing.\nAssist the government with transition from prototype software systems to scalable enterprise microservice enabled applications ready for operational units.\nSustain the development and refinement of acquisition strategies, as well as identify program execution issues and provide recommendations when possible.\nGenerate presentation materials, status briefings, and strategic communication products to assist the government customer in achieving favorable program outcomes.\nPerform analyses of program business cases and risk assessments. Offer actionable recommendations to the program manager.\nCommunicate technical strategy regarding infrastructure, platform, data, and application development to contractors, external stakeholders, program managers, and senior government leadership.\nQualifications\nRequired Experience:\nBachelor’s Degree and 15 years of experience; Master’s Degree and 13 years of experience; PhD and 10 years of experience with implementing large scale, highly-available, complex platform solutions.\nActive Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain Sensitive Compartmented Information and Special Program access, as well as a willingness to consent to a polygraph examination.\nExperience in program management, knowledge management, and space command and control systems.\nExperience with space operations, defense, or aerospace industries.\nKnowledge of industry-standard data platforms.\nFamiliarity with Site Reliability practices for observability and uptime management.\nExperience in supporting and/or managing technical programs throughout the software engineering life cycle.\nExperience designing, developing, operationalizing, implementing, and maintaining complex cloud applications at enterprise scale.\nDesired Experience:\nPMP or similar certification.\nFamiliarity with Kubernetes, Online Services, and Active Directory.\nExperience of setting up and leading Agile development.\nExperience with Confluence, JIRA and or smart sheets.\nApplication Programming Interface (API) development/management.\nCertifications in any of the following Cloud Service Providers (CSPs): MAW, Azure, GCP, IBM Cloud, Oracle Cloud, Salesforce, or Adobe Cloud.\nExperience providing rapid-paced development, deployment, and obsolescence management of infrastructure capabilities for U.S. Government contracts.\n\nTarget salary range: $200,001 - $240,000.
