The ideal candidate will be the executive chef's trusted second in command, helping to deliver exceptional dining experiences. By ensuring high standards of quality, taste, and presentation. Looking for a leader who can manage kitchen operation, mentor staff, and maintain efficiency and sanitation in a fast-paced environment.Duties & ResponsibilitiesHelp lead and support the kitchen team by training, coaching, and motivating staffAssist the executive chef with daily kitchen operations and step in when they are absentHelp plan menus and develop recipes that meet quality standards and guest expectationsEnsure all food is prepared and presented consistently and at a high levelMaintain a clean, organized kitchen that meets all health and safety standardsManage food quality, food costs, inventory, ordering, and vendor relationshipsControl costs by supporting scheduling, budgeting, and purchasing decisionsWork closely with other departments and attend meetings to keep operations running smoothlyThe duties and responsibilities described are not a comprehensive list; additional tasks may be assigned at any given time.
