Senior Project ManagerSutter, California - Posted on May 8, 2026 Published By Toby CopelandTrillium Construction is now seeking a Branch Manager for direct-hire placement!Annual salary is $120,000 – $140,000/year.We are seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead complex commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This role is responsible for overseeing multimillion-dollar projects, mentoring project teams, and driving operational excellence while ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with strong financial management skills, a collaborative mindset, and a proven ability to manage large-scale construction operations while maintaining strong client relationships.Key ResponsibilitiesProject LeadershipLead multiple commercial construction projects simultaneously from initiation to completion.Develop and manage detailed project schedules, budgets, and work plans.Oversee subcontractor selection, negotiation, and performance management.Ensure project milestones, quality standards, and safety requirements are consistently met.Proactively identify and mitigate risks impacting schedule or budget.Financial ManagementMaintain full financial responsibility for assigned projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.Manage project P&L performance and ensure accurate revenue recognition.Review and approve change orders, subcontract agreements, and pay applications.Drive profitability while maintaining client satisfaction and long-term relationships.Team & Client ManagementMentor and develop Project Managers, Engineers, and field staff.Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, architects, engineers, and key stakeholders.Lead project meetings and provide clear communication on schedule, budget, and progress.Foster a collaborative, solutions-oriented team environment.Preconstruction & PlanningPartner with estimating and preconstruction teams during budgeting and bid phases.Provide constructability reviews and value engineering recommendations.Align project execution plans with operational capacity and resource availability.Safety & CompliancePromote and enforce jobsite safety standards and company policies.Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal construction regulations.QualificationsMinimum 7–10 years of commercial construction project management experience.Proven experience managing multimillion-dollar projects from start to finish.Strong understanding of construction scheduling, cost control, and contract management.Demonstrated leadership experience supervising project teams.Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.Trillium Construction Services has been recruiting and hiring construction and skilled trades talent for over 30 years.
