SCHEDULE: Full Time, 8 HR Day Shift,
POSITION SUMMARY
The HR Specialist for Compensation is a strategic partner responsible for the end-to-end administration and continuous evolution of the organization’s total rewards framework. Reporting to the Total Rewards Manager, the Compensation Specialist will drive the development, maintenance, and administration of new and revised employee compensation programs, policies, and procedures. The work of the HR Specialist will ensure that our rewards strategy is not only compliant with government regulations, but remains fiercely competitive, directly enabling the organization to attract and retain top-tier talent.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field required.
Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification is highly preferred.
EXPERIENCE
At least one year of experience in compensation-related human resources work required. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Advanced computer literacy, specifically with Word and Excel, and the ability to navigate HRIS systems and carrier administrative portals with ease.
Possess strong problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret complex data and ensure pay equity and market alignment.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills with a proven ability to work effectively with others while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and discretion.
Demonstrated efficiency in project management, with the organizational ability to handle multiple competing priorities and deadlines.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, changing environment, including making decisions under pressure.
WORKING CONDITIONS - ADA INFORMATION
Substantial sitting, standing, stooping, bending, lifting (up to 25lbs) and pushing objects. At times may be subject to high levels of stress, managing competing priorities, and peaks and valleys in workload. Requires considerable mental effort and logical thought processing. Prolonged periods of working on a computer.
