Registered Nurse - Behavioral Services

This RN role involves providing comprehensive, patient-centered behavioral health care across diverse populations including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics, with shifts available in various specialties such as Psychiatry and Mood Disorders.Under supervision, the RN assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates individualized care, supervises non-RN staff, and may serve as a charge nurse, ensuring quality and continuity of care.Key responsibilities include ongoing patient assessment, developing and coordinating care plans, patient and family education, and supporting unit operations. The role requires demonstrated skills in neuro assessment, airway management, tracheostomy care, and ventilator support.Qualifications include an accredited nursing degree (BSN preferred), valid Connecticut RN license, BLS certification, proficiency in electronic records, and computer skills.
