Role Description This is a part-time, on-site role for a Strength and Conditioning Coach located in Alexandria, VA. The Strength and Conditioning Coach will be responsible for designing and implementing training programs tailored to individual and group needs, leading warm-up and workout sessions, and ensuring proper exercise techniques to prevent injuries. The role involves working to build athletic performance, promoting physical fitness, and fostering a positive and safe training environment while motivating clients to meet their fitness goals. Qualifications Proficiency in Strength & Conditioning techniques and a solid understanding of Strength Training fundamentalsKnowledge of Sports Science principles and their application to athletic trainingExperience in enhancing Athletic Performance and Injury Prevention practicesStrong communication and motivational skills to inspire and engage athletes of varying ages and fitness levelsBachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field is preferredRelevant certifications such as CSCS (Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist) or NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine) are a plusExperience working with youth, adult, or professional athletes is highly desirable
