Work Location100% On-siteOffice Location: 6230 E Stassney Ln, Austin, TX 78744Candidates must be local to Austin, TX or surrounding areas.**Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking a contract Senior Instructor Trainer to be a key resource on a technical services team for our client, the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT).ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and implement training curricula. Develop alternative teaching techniques and motivational methods to enhance learning engagement. Assist in designing multimedia curriculum, eLearning modules, and computer-aided instructional technologies. Format training materials developed by other staff and ensure content clarity and accessibility. Develop and maintain training materials, including course outlines, instructional guides, multimedia aids, and technical documentation. Design, prepare, and deliver technical training programsQualificationsMinimum (Required):8 years of:Experience designing, developing and implementing training curricula.Experience developing training programs, including web‐based and instructor led courses, job‐aids, videos, etc.5 years of:Experience conducting classes regarding standard operating procedures of various software solutions, IT security, IT system installation, software programming, system maintenance, and repair of software, operational support best practices, and equipment.Experience with web‐based learning management systems and eLearning authoring tools.Expert knowledge of MS Office Suite 2010 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Preferred (Optional):5 years of:Experience in delivering technical training in cloud‐based technology is a plus.Company OverviewTexas GovLink offers its family of consultants excellent rates, a local support staff, and an attractive benefits package which includes medical insurance (TGL shares a percentage of the cost), life insurance, a matching 401(k) plan and a cafeteria plan.
