We have flexibility for either FT or PT. The RN plays an integral role in helping our client achieve its care plans for their patients.What We Offer:$65.00 per hour starting rateWeekly pay every FridayFully paid orientationPaid time offUniform allowanceScheduled pay increasesFlexible scheduling (Weekend rotation necessary)The ideal RN candidate will:Nursing Degree (ASN or BSN)Desired to have prior experience working in a skilled nursing facility or long-term careExperience with EMRKeen ability to assess resident needs and make sound clinical decisionHave an ability to prioritize and coordinate activities of nursing unitA collaborative style with communication skills both verbal and writtenRequired Qualifications:An active RN license for New York StateCPR certificationAbout the position:The Registered Nurse (RN) is a key member of the Nursing Team, assisting and supervising residents in all activities of daily living while providing expert care to patients. Additional responsibilities may include:Serve as the nursing leader and educator on the unit. Directs all care related items from admission through dischargeSupervises CNAs and LPNsCollaborate with the interdisciplinary care team in a coordinated effort with the resident and family to create a comprehensive, individualized plan of careEducates and reinforces clinical competencies of nursing staff in areas such as wound care, ostomy care, foley catheter insertion and care, medication administration through all routes including G-tube and IVs, trach care and suctioning.Performs tasks such as IV insertion, PICC line care, GT and suprapubic catheter reinsertion, initiate care plans and review the data and sign off on assessments done by the LPNMedWell Staffing works with leading clients in the healthcare industry throughout the metro NYC area.
