Shipping/Receiving Operator IWe are looking for a Shipping/Receiving Operator I to join our Circular Products team at our Sauk Rapids facility. The Shipping/Receiving Operator I is responsible for the identification of specific component parts and the preparation of products for shipment.Title: Shipping/Receiving Operator I Location: Sauk Rapids, MN Salary Range: $22.95 - 27.00 per hour (non-exempt)Shift Schedule: 1st shift Monday Friday 7am 3pm Shift Differential: 1st shift - n/AAs a Shipping/Receiving Operator I, you will:Use a crane, hoist, forklift, or other material handling equipment to transport materials and products into and out of the work area as requiredPackage, band, or shrink-wrap products or loadsEfficiently load and unload finished products on trucksFollow customer shipping specifications/standard workInspect material handling equipment and lifting devicesVerify/Count parts moved to match paperwork for inventory accuracyMaintain accurate inventory of shipping materialsInterpret blueprints, BOL, and other necessary documents to identify partsCollaborate with other members of the shipping processUtilize ERP software to understand the status of jobs & materials moving through the manufacturing processInspect deliveries and accurately log documentationGather/pick/assemble products on load listsPut product away in designated areasKeep area organized, maintain 5S GuidelinesRole Qualifications as a Shipping/Receiving Operator:Experience in a manufacturing environmentSkill of effective and appropriate verbal and written communication skillsSkill to accurately use tape measure and precision measuring devicesComputer literate; particularly in word processing, spreadsheet, email, shop floor control, production planning, and inventory control applicationsAbility to perform basic shop math functionsAbility to read and understand required internal manufacturing paperworkAbility to electronically record production informationAbility to work independently using standardized practices and/or procedures and with others as part of a high-performance teamAdapt to changing work prioritiesStrong attention to detail and organization skillsPhysical Demands (Production Roles):This position requires the individual to wear and work in company-provided personal protective equipment (PPE). This position requires that the individual can lift a minimum of 50lbs. And, if applicable, can maneuver large, cumbersome equipment with the use of an overhead crane and/or forklift. Must be able to work in, on, or around equipment and machinery.
