We have developed a differentiated business model due to our scale, breadth of geographic coverage, and embedded customer relationships with leading auto original equipment manufacturing companies (OEMs).Job SummaryWe’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable and Payable (AR/AP) Supervisor to lead the daily operations of our receivables and payables functions. In this role, you’ll be responsible for managing a small team, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing, collections, disbursements, and reconciliations. Your leadership will help maintain strong cash flow and healthy vendor/customer relationships, key to our logistics-driven business.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesAccounts Receivable:Supervise the generation and distribution of customer invoicesOversee cash application and payment postingsMonitor aging reports and lead collection efforts on overdue accountsCoordinate with sales, customer service, and operations to resolve billing issuesPrepare AR reports and assist with cash forecastingAccounts Payable:Supervise invoice processing, matching, coding, and approvalsEnsure timely vendor payments while optimizing payment termsReconcile AP subledger to the general ledger monthlyManage vendor relationships and respond to inquiries/disputesAssist with 1099 reporting and complianceLeadership & Process Improvement:Train, mentor and develop AR/AP team membersImplement process improvements and automation opportunitiesEnforce internal controls and ensure compliance with policies and proceduresAssist with internal/external audits and month-end closeRequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred3–5 years of progressive AR/AP experience, including 1+ years in a supervisory roleTransportation or logistics industry experience preferredStrong understanding of general accounting practices and principlesAdvanced in Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word, as well as accounting software and ERP systems (Acumatica preferred)Highly organized, detail oriented, problem-solverExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environmentEEO StatementAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin.
