We enable innovation by bringing our expertise in vacuum science, ultrapure and ultra-hygienic materials fabrication, and ceramic-to-metal sealing along with our design and manufacturing partnerships- all to enable science to change the world for the better.\nFunction & Responsibility\nAlong with the Operations team, coordinate activities between the multiple manufacturing departments, and with outside vendors, in order to prioritize production activities to achieve the best possible On-Time Delivery performance. Locating and distributing materials to specified production areas, Monitoring work orders to ensure that production runs match work order requirements. Interact with the manufacturing director to understand all aspects of keeping production running smoothly. Interact routinely with all shop managers to assess current materials needs and to address any problems. Must be organized and a good communicator.\nRequirements:\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nReview daily job printout for each work center\nLocate jobs in the staging area and prioritize\nReview the picklist and make sure everything is needed for the job at that work center\nAdvise production planning if there is not enough work for a day\nKeep carts and storage shelves clean/orderly\nMake sure every bin has a label and that it matches the traveler inside\nRun and release SFC\nAttend OPS meeting\nTrack walkthrough/quick-turn jobs\nCommunicate between production and planning\nRun efficiency, capacity, and work center tracking reports\nOutsourcing activities\nAX Clocking\nDowntime activities:\nOpen packaging, prepare and stage welding jobs\nAssist with warehouse/shipping/logistics/packing\nMust be a go-getter. Always moving. Able to lift. Walk-in 10,000 steps/day and swiftly\nMust be very proficient in Microsoft Excel (expert).\nAttention to detail and high level of accuracy\nMinimum Qualifications\nMust be able to lift 20 lbs\nAble to work extended hours and weekends\nMust have attention to detail along with a willingness to be cross-trained\nDependable in regard to attendance\nA minimum of 1-2 years of relevant warehouse or manufacturing experience is preferred.\nSolid problem solving, project management, multi-tasking, and prioritization skills.\nAbility to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.\nAbility to work under pressure and to react to situations with a strong sense of urgency.\nExperience with MRP, ERP, and/or Pull Systems (Desirable)\nWork Environment\nThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
