{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"4073c4e92f3e4ac0f89a3d96","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/4073c4e92f3e4ac0f89a3d96","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/4073c4e92f3e4ac0f89a3d96","title":"Maintenance Technician 3rd shift 11pm-7am","description":"General Assignments\n· Repair and maintain machinery and medical equipment such as motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, production machines and equipment\n· Troubleshoot electrical systems including, but not limited to three-phase motors, start/stop circuits, AC/DC drives and running electrical conduit\n· Modifies PLC programs\n· Observe mechanical devices in operation and diagnose malfunctions\n· Dismantle machines and equipment to repair or replace defective parts\n· Make approved modifications to machinery and equipment to meet production needs\n· Maintain, install and repair electrical and electronic equipment\n· Must be able to troubleshoot pneumatic and electrical control circuits\n· Ability to fabricate parts using a mill and lathe\n· Keep accurate maintenance and preventative maintenance records and insure all revisions to equipment and tools are properly recorded\n· Keep maintenance are clean and free from safety hazards\n· May be a member of hazardous response team\n· Assist with new equipment instillations and special projects\n· Performs facility repairs as necessary, i.e. plumbing, electrical, etc.\n· Actively supports plant safety efforts through departmental participation in safety meetings and safety walks\n· Engages in safe practices as well as follows and enforces safety rules and job rotations.\n· Must be willing to report unsafe conditions, reporting unsafe acts, participating in safety/ergonomic committees, participating in safety Kaizen events, participating in Blue Sky initiatives, participating in safety audits, and participating in safety observation feedback events.\n· Assist the plant in achieving safety goals while achieving and maintaining Safe Workplace and Environmental and Sustainability AMS objectives.\n· Initiate timely investigations of all reported incident/accidents, injuries and timely completion of all 8Ds listing the “5 whys” and identify and document the root cause.\n· Attend all required training.\nAttributes/Skills Required/Sought\n· A High School diploma or equivalent is required.\n· 2 year degree specialized education or equivalency training in the appropriate areas, with additional vocational technical training in skilled trades is desired.\n· Industrial Electrical and/or PLC training is a plus.\n· Requires a working knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and ladder logic diagrams.\n· Experience with vision systems is preferred.\n· Industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, electrical controls fabrication and troubleshooting, and personal computer hardware and software experience is desired.\nJob Type: Full-time\nPay: $29.50 -
