Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.**Our client is seeking a detail-oriented data analytics contractor to support business-critical BI reporting and analytics initiatives. This role partners closely with technology and business stakeholders to build dashboards, deliver insights, and enhance data capabilities.Primary DutiesDevelop, maintain, and optimize BI dashboards and reports in Sigma Computing to support decision-makingBuild and maintain data models; gather and document data requirements with stakeholdersPartner on data infrastructure, visualization, and analytics roadmap initiativesPerform ad hoc analysis and deep dives to generate actionable insightsAutomate internal and external reporting while ensuring data quality and timelinessImprove report performance and streamline data visualization using advanced modeling techniquesMaintain data accuracy, governance, and documentation; support validation processesQualificationsStrong quantitative background with excellent analytical, written, and communication skillsSelf-starter with strong organizational skills; able to manage multiple priorities independently and within a team2+ years of professional experience in analytics or BI developmentProficiency with SQLExperience with using tools such as Sigma, Looker, Power BI, or similarWillingness to learn and integrate AI into current technology.Experience with data modeling, visualization, and ad hoc analysisExperience with system integrations, APIs, and performance optimizationNice-to-Have SkillsFamiliarity with tools such as DAX, Python, dbt, LookML, SSRS, and SnowflakeFamiliarity with financial concepts, investment management, or capital marketsExposure to commercial real estate conceptsStrong project management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environmentHigh attention to detail, accountability, and ability to communicate clearly and conciselyOur Vetting ProcessAt Emergent Staffing, we work hard to find candidates who are the right fit for our clients.
