Apply via Dice today!Description: IT Asset Management Professional (Data Centre / ITAM)Location: Manassas, VA (Onsite)Job Description IT Asset Management (Data Centre)Function: IT Infrastructure / Data Centre OperationsRole OverviewWe are looking for an experienced IT Asset Management (ITAM) professional to join our infrastructure team in VA. The role involves managing the end-to-end lifecycle of IT assets in a large-scale enterprise IT environment.The ideal candidate should have strong experience in asset tracking, CMDB management, and working with structured IT processes in enterprise organizations.Key ResponsibilitiesManage full lifecycle of IT assets including procurement, deployment, tracking, maintenance, and retirementMaintain accurate inventory of IT assets such as servers, storage, and network equipmentEnsure correct asset records including location, ownership, and configuration detailsUpdate and maintain CMDB in ServiceNow or similar ITSM toolsPerform regular asset reconciliation and support auditsCoordinate with internal infrastructure and operations teams for asset movements and updatesFollow ITIL-based Asset and Configuration Management processesPrepare reports on asset status, compliance, and auditsWhat We Are Looking ForExperience in IT Asset Management in enterprise IT environmentsStrong understanding of IT infrastructure (servers, storage, networking)Hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITAM / CMDB or similar toolsGood knowledge of ITIL Asset and Configuration Management processesStrong Excel and data management skillsExperience in audit support and asset lifecycle trackingCommunication SkillsGood verbal and written communication in EnglishAbility to work with cross-functional IT and operations teamsStrong documentation and reporting skillsAbility to communicate asset-related information clearly and simplyGood to HaveExposure to high-scale enterprise environments (including GPU / HPC environments like NVIDIA setups)Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / Google Cloud Platform)Familiarity with tools like Device42 or SunbirdBasic knowledge of VMware or Kubernetes
