We develop and test X-ray imaging systems and equipment to the airport and security industries.\n\nWe are looking for a Test Engineer to join our team. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of products through various testing methods and procedures. Working closely with engineers, they will execute test plans provided by engineers, and ensure the accuracy and reliability of test data.\nResponsibilities:\nDevelop, document, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.\nExecute manual and automated tests on various software products to identify defects and ensure product quality.\nUtilize Linux-based systems to set up, configure, and maintain test environments.\nCollaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.\nPerform Testing procedures using prescribed methods and protocols, including visual inspection, and dimensional measurements.\nAnalyze test results, identify issues, and work with the design team to resolve defects.\nContinuously improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.\nPerform regression testing, performance testing, and stress testing as required.\nDocument test results, including observations, measurements, and any deviations from the expected values, accurately and in a timely manner using Microsoft Excel.\nProficiency in using Jira for test and defect management.\nDocument and report test results, providing clear and actionable feedback to the development team.\nProvide feedback and suggestions for continuous improvement of test processes and procedures.\nHelp maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the testing laboratory or work area.\nUphold the company’s core values of Integrity, Innovation, Accountability, and Teamwork.\nDemonstrate behavior consistent with the company’s Code of Ethics and Conduct.\nIt is the responsibility of every employee to report to their manager or a member of senior management any quality problems or defects in order for corrective action to be implemented and to avoid recurrence of the problem.\nDuties may be modified or assigned at any time to meet the needs of the business.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, electrical or a related field required.\n5 + years of proven experience as a Test Engineer or similar role, with a focus on software testing strongly desired.\nProficiency in Linux environments, including command-line tools and shell scripting.\nStrong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
