Rapid Repair Estimator

MidAtlantic Service 360 is seeking a highly organized and driven Rapid Repair Estimator to join our growing commercial service team!This role is responsible for turning technician-discovered deficiencies into completed repair quotes quickly and efficiently. The estimator will work directly with service technicians, vendors, account managers, and customers to assemble pricing, prepare proposals, follow up on opportunities, close work, procure materials, and coordinate scheduling for completion.This fast-paced operational sales support role is ideal for someone who thrives on organization, communication, urgency, and closing deals.ResponsibilitiesReview technician field reports and identified deficienciesCommunicate with service technicians to clarify scope and repair requirementsContact vendors and suppliers for pricing, lead times, and material availabilityBuild accurate repair estimates and proposals using company templates and softwareSend completed proposals to customers in a timely mannerFollow up on open quotes to help secure approvals and close workCoordinate approved work with account managers and service scheduling teamsPurchase materials and issue purchase orders for approved repairsTrack quote status, approvals, pending items, and project progressMaintain strong communication with customers throughout the processAssist in improving estimating procedures, pricing standards, and response timesSupport emergency and rapid-response repair opportunities when neededQualificationsExperience in commercial HVAC, plumbing, mechanical service, construction, or estimating preferredStrong organizational and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple quotes and priorities simultaneouslyComfortable speaking with technicians, vendors, and customers dailyAbility to read service reports, equipment information, and repair scopesProficiency with Microsoft Office and computer-based estimating/service softwareSelf-motivated with strong follow-through skillsSales-minded attitude with focus on responsiveness and customer servicePreferred ExperienceCommercial mechanical or service industry backgroundExperience with quoting repairs or service workFamiliarity with HVAC, plumbing, piping, controls, or mechanical systemsExperience using CRM, dispatching, or estimating software platformsWhat Success Looks LikeFast turnaround times on repair quotesHigh quote conversion and close ratesStrong coordination between technicians, customers, and operationsAccurate material procurement and schedulingExcellent customer communication and follow-upCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary based on experience ($40-$55 / hour)Bonus opportunities tied to performance and quote conversionHealth benefitsPaid time off401(k)Career growth opportunities within a rapidly growing mechanical service organizationAbout UsMid Atlantic Service 360 is a leading commercial mechanical contractor specializing in HVAC, plumbing, piping, sheet metal, controls, and service solutions throughout the region.
