Travel LPN - Rehabilitation
DescriptionWe're looking for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for an immediate travel opening in Madison, WI.The right LPN should have 1 year of experience in Rehabilitation care. Read below for more requirements.As an LPN in a Rehabilitation setting, you will provide compassionate nursing care to patients recovering from illness or injury, with a focus on enhancing their comfort and quality of life. Working closely with the healthcare team, you will focus on monitoring patient progress, managing symptoms and supporting both patients and their families through the rehabilitation process.Responsibilities:Administer medications and treatments to manage symptoms, pain, and recovery needsMonitor vital signs and assess changes in patient condition, reporting findings to the care teamAssist patients with personal care and activities of daily living (ADLs)Provide emotional support and education to patients and families regarding care plansCoordinate patient care with the interdisciplinary rehabilitation teamEnsure accurate, timely documentation of nursing care and patient statusAssist in advance care planning, patient advocacy, and promoting patient dignityMaintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients during their rehabilitationFollow all infection control and safety protocols to ensure a safe environmentRespect patient dignity, privacy, and cultural preferences throughout careThe ideal candidate must have at least one year of experience as an LPN in a Rehabilitation setting. Additionally, they should possess a current BLS certification and be eligible for State licensure. Additional certifications may be required.LPNs in Rehabilitation settings should be organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently in a fast paced outpatient environment.Requirements*: BLS, 2 Years
