We are located in a retail setting at Target Optical in San Clemente\nResponsibilities\nConduct thorough eye examinations to assess vision and detect ocular diseases (exams are scheduled every 30 minutes)\nProvide contact lens fittings and follow ups, be proficient RGP, multifocal etc\nProvide education to patients regarding eye health, treatment options, and preventative care.\nMaintain accurate medical records using EMR (Revolution) and EHR systems, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.\nPerform diagnostic tests and interpret results to guide treatment decisions.\nStay updated on advancements in optometry practices and technologies.\nEnsure a welcoming environment for patients by delivering excellent customer service.\nRequired to work an 8 hour shift 9am-5pm with 1 hour lunch.\nRequirements\nDoctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution.\nValid state license to practice optometry.\nProfessional Liability Insurance\nFamiliarity with optical equipment and techniques (Optomap and Automated Phoropter)\nProficiency in using EMR/EHR systems for efficient record management Revolution, if not we can complete training.\nExcellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.\nJoin our team as an Optometrist where you can make a meaningful impact on the lives of patients through quality eye care.
