Your compassionate interaction and skill in patient care will be crucial, as you play a significant role in fostering a positive and comforting patient experience throughout the imaging process.\r\nTo be successful in this role, you will deeply understand the critical importance of diagnostic imaging. This includes a comprehensive knowledge of general imaging workflow, various patient positioning techniques, and the ability to consistently capture clear results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses that guide effective patient care.\r\n\r\nPerforms CT scans based on current protocols and/or radiologist recommendations. CT scans include but are not limited to: Trauma/ER, Perfusions, Routine Body, Routine Neuro, Interventional Procedures.\r\nAssists Interventional Radiologist proficiently during CT guidance procedures.\r\nAccurately and proficiently performs work-ups, such as perfusions & reconstructions.\r\nPerforms protocol management by evaluating and determining area of interest and type of scan to be performed on patient, consults physician as necessary.\r\nActs as a resource and role model for Students, Externs, and new staff members\r\nDisplays a thorough knowledge of cross sectional anatomy and positioning as it relates to performance of CT scan procedures.\r\n\r\nJob Requirements\r\nRequired\r\n\r\nGraduate AMA approved school ofradiologic technology. and At least two (2) years prior radiologictechnologist experience., upon hire\r\nMedical Radiographer: AZ, upon hire and\r\nBasic Life Support - CPR, upon hire and\r\nRegistered Technologist Radiography ARRT, upon hire\r\n\r\nWhere You'll Work\r\nLocated in the Phoenix, Ariz., suburb of Gilbert, the Mercy Gilbert Medical Center, is a 198-bed, not-for profit hospital with more than 1,300 team members and almost 900 doctors on staff representing all major specialties.
