In this hybrid role, you'll provide technical support for our industrial automation products while creating the documentation that helps customers successfully integrate and use them. You'll work closely with customers, distributors, and our engineering team, gaining expertise in PLCs, motion control, industrial networking, and automation technologies.\nKey Responsibilities\nProvide technical support via phone and email, assisting customers with product installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and repairs.\nTroubleshoot hardware, software, and application issues involving AMCI products.\nDevelop expertise with PLC platforms, including Rockwell Automation and Siemens.\nCreate sample PLC programs and assist customers in debugging their applications.\nCollaborate with Engineering and Applications Engineers on customer solutions and new product development.\nWrite and maintain product manuals, application notes, FAQs, and other technical documentation.\nCreate technical illustrations, wiring diagrams, and simplified 3D product models for customer use.\nQualifications\nMinimum of Associate’s Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, Technical Communications, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.\n2+ years of experience in technical support, industrial automation, controls, or technical writing preferred.\nStrong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.\nAbility to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nExperience with PLCs, motion control, or industrial automation is a plus.\nWhy Join AMCI?\nAt AMCI, you'll work with innovative industrial automation products while developing expertise in motion control, PLC programming, and industrial networking.
