In this role you will work directly for the Project Manager assisting and helping them in the planning, organizing, supervising, and scheduling of multiple commercial low voltage projects as well as any support needed for the installation teams. The person needs to be very detailed and organized, and ideally have experience with a contractor in commercial construction, an Architectural or Engineering firm.\nPay range: $27.00-$30.00/HR\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nBased on input from our managers, supervisors, and foreman you will procure material, create, and track change orders, project punch lists, RFI’s as well as schedule and coordinate equipment delivery as needed.\nHelp the operations team with coordinating the project activities with our customers and other trades at the work locations to optimize installation time.\nGather, organize, and maintain the project files consisting of contract drawings, specifications, change order logs, RFI’s and other correspondence as well as CSI proposals and shop drawings.\nWork directly with the Accounting and Purchasing team on material orders and bookings.\nHelp coordinate shop drawings, submittals and permits between the CSI engineering team and our installation teams and customers as needed.\nAssist customers getting any questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner.\nComplete all appropriate company paperwork as required.\nResponsible for all shipping and receiving of material. (Warehouse experience a plus).\nAssist PM and Superintendent’s with staging and material tracking.\nUpdate inventory and project excel trackers.\nBasic Qualifications:\nPrior experience in project coordination or project assistance within the construction industry, or electrical, HVAC, fire protection, alarm systems, and mechanical engineering.\nFire Alarm or Low Voltage experience ideal.\nValid driver's license with a clean driving record.\nApplicants must meet requirements in relation to background and driving record.\nMust be highly proficient working in an office environment and the use and application of industry related equipment including MS Office.\nMust have excellent communications skills, using tact and diplomacy when dealing with customers.\nRegular, reliable, predictable attendance.\nEqual Employment Opportunity\nCSI is an equal opportunity employer.
