This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, has excellent computer skills, and isn't afraid to spend time on the production floor identifying opportunities to improve workplace safety.\nThis is not a desk-only position. You'll split your time between the office and the manufacturing shop, helping develop safety programs while also serving as another set of eyes and ears throughout the facility.\nWhat You'll Do\nAssist in developing and formatting safety policies, procedures, and training materials\nCreate engaging PowerPoint presentations, handouts, quizzes, and employee training documents\nHelp organize and maintain safety records and documentation\nConduct routine safety inspections throughout the facility\nIdentify unsafe conditions or behaviors and communicate findings to the Safety Manager\nAssist with incident investigations and corrective action follow-up\nHelp coordinate employee safety orientations and ongoing training\nTrack training completion and maintain compliance records\nPrepare reports, spreadsheets, and other administrative documents\nHelp maintain SDS books and safety bulletin boards\nHelp track safety supplies and PPE inventory\nParticipate in safety meetings and continuous improvement initiatives\nSupport miscellaneous projects as assigned\nWe're Looking For Someone Who\nIs highly organized and detail-oriented\nIs confident using Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint\nCan create professional-looking documents and presentations\nEnjoys writing and communicating information clearly\nIs comfortable walking through a manufacturing environment throughout the day\nHas good observation skills and notices details others may overlook\nCan communicate professionally with employees at all levels\nWorks well independently while also being a strong team player\nThrives in a fast‑paced, rapidly growing company\nTakes initiative without needing constant direction\nIs dependable, positive, and eager to learn\nPreferred Qualifications\nPrevious safety, training, HR, manufacturing, or administrative experience\nExperience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred\nOSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain)\nExperience creating training materials or conducting presentations is preferred\nStrong computer proficiency and document formatting skills\nPhysical Requirements\nFrequently walk throughout manufacturing and warehouse environments\nStand and walk for extended periods\nOccasionally lift up to 25 pounds\nAbility to work in varying temperatures typical of a manufacturing facility\nAbility to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)\nWhy Safe Air Technology?\nAt Safe Air Technology, safety isn't just a department, it's part of our culture.
