Each team member plays a vital role in the firm’s success.Position Overview:We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to work directly with our attorneys in all aspects of estate planning and administration. In our small firm setting, this role is hands-on and varied, offering the opportunity to take on meaningful responsibility and build strong client relationships.Key Responsibilities:Draft, revise, and finalize estate planning documents, including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directivesAssist with probate and trust administration, including preparing court filings and correspondenceServe as a primary point of contact for clients, providing a warm and professional experienceManage attorney calendars, schedule meetings, and track important deadlinesMaintain and organize client files (both electronic and physical) with precisionCoordinate with courts, financial institutions, and other professionalsAssist with billing, invoicing, and general office administrationSupport attorneys with day-to-day tasks to keep the practice running smoothlyQualifications:2+ years of experience in a law office; Trusts & Estates experience strongly preferredHighly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-throughExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-service mindsetAbility to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt in a small team environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with legal or practice management software is a plusDiscretion in handling confidential and sensitive client informationEducation Requirements:Paralegal certificate is a plus but not requiredCompensation & Benefits:Competitive salary commensurate with experiencePaid time off and holidaysRetirement plan optionsFlexible, supportive work environmentOpportunity for growth and increased responsibility within the firmWhy Join Us:This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a close-knit team where your contributions are valued and visible.
